what type of OS is suitable to the host?

Hello,

I am new to this and looking around for help. I am going to set up a zero client network which has only one host and six zero client access points. Klienter har ikke en PC eller en enhet installert en OS. Clients and the host attached to a gigabit ethernet switch. Clients get OS and Office experience from the host and the host has OS and Office. 
Please let me know in order to implement such a network, what type of OS is suitable for the host?
Hvilke typer af licenser skal jeg købe? I went through many resources and also checked VPS Hosting Video examples but did not find any solution for this issue. Please help me out.
Any help will be appreciated.
